How Special Projects Work
1. Initial Enquiry
Send a description of the project, intended use, deadline and the type of clothing required.
2. Creative Discussion
Benett Atelier will discuss the visual direction, practical needs, references, colours, materials and available budget.
3. Scope and Proposal
If the project is suitable, the studio will confirm the proposed service, price, expected timescale and any required fittings.
4. Design Developmentl
The concept is developed through visual references, design ideas and agreed garment details.
5. Creation and Fittings
The garment or selected pieces are prepared. Fittings may be arranged where required.
6. Completion
The finished work is collected, delivered or dispatched according to the agreed arrangements.

To help assess the project, please provide:

Do you work with film and theatre productions?
Benett Atelier welcomes selected enquiries from independent, student, local and emerging productions. Acceptance depends on the project’s complexity, budget, deadline and current studio availability.
Can you create a costume based on a film character?
Inspiration images may be used to explain a general direction. Benett Atelier does not create unauthorised products presented as official or licensed merchandise.
Do you design clothing for performers?
Selected performance clothing enquiries are welcome, including garments for music, theatre, photography and other creative projects.
Can you make several matching costumes?
Small coordinated projects may be considered. The number of garments, required deadline and production capacity must be discussed before acceptance.
Do you create custom doll clothing?
Yes. Selected doll outfits are sold through the shop, and individual custom enquiries may also be considered.
Do you currently sell liturgical garments?
This specialist area is still being developed. Preliminary enquiries and suitable future collaborations are welcome.
Can consultations take place online?
Yes. Initial consultations can be completed online. Fittings or in-person meetings may be arranged where required and practical.
How much does a special project cost?
The price depends on research, design work, materials, construction, fittings, number of garments and deadline. A proposal is provided after the project requirements have been discussed.
